Conch Pearls



Conch pearls, or 'pink pearls' - which are created in the shell of a large sea snail (Queen conch mollusc) in the Caribbean. The unusual color sets is apart..

So what's the difference between a regular pearl and this? - Pearls are harvested from oysters, conch pearls are not made of nacre but formed from calcareou, concentration in the mollusc - similar to kidney stones in humans - they have a porcelaneous appearance and a unique shimmer and oval in shape - Colors range from white, beige, yellow and brown to red and - the most coveted - pink..
